• Grammar Pāli Class

• Roots.

• Suttas Advanced Pāli Class

Updating existing deck without losing your statistics

It is recommended to use Special fields Add-on

Usually it is enough just to double-click on the downloaded apkg file, and it will update in your Anki.

Only you need to remove outdated words

Another method of updating

If you have a problem with updating, you can use the following method:

• download the latest csv file:

• Vocab Pāli Class

• Grammar Pāli Class has 3 note types:

• • note:pali class abbrev
• • note:pali class Grammar
• • note:pali class Sandhi

• Roots

• Phonetic Changes

• Suttas Advanced Pāli Class

• make sure that your filed list exectly the same as current:

• • filed list for Vocab deck.
• • filed list for Root and Phonetic Changes deck.
• • filed list for Grammar note:pali class abbrev.
• • filed list for Grammar note:pali class Grammar.
• • filed list for Grammar note:pali class Sandhi.
• • filed list for Suttas Advanced deck.

You can check it in menu: Tools > Manage Note Types

• make sure that your card settings exectly the same as current card settings. You can check it in menu: Tools > Manage Note Types

for Vocab deck:

• note that there are 3 different fields for card settings:
  1. Vocab FRONT TEMPLATE
  2. Vocab BACK TEMPLATE
  3. Vocab STYLE

for Root and Phonetic Changes decks:

• note that there are 3 different fields for card settings:
  1. Root FRONT TEMPLATE
  2. Root BACK TEMPLATE
  3. Root STYLE

for Suttas Advanced deck:

• note that there are 3 different fields for card settings:
  1. Root FRONT TEMPLATE
  2. Root BACK TEMPLATE
  3. Root STYLE

Check that each of them matches current card settings.

• in the Anki click on File - Import

• choose downloaded *.csv

• choose Type - “desired deck”; Update existing notes when the first field matches ; Allow HTML in fields

• double check everything with this picture, and click import

• now you are up-to-date.
