Indeed, Venerable Sir, we being impermanent, we thought we are permanent. Indeed, Venerable Sir, being truly not enduring, we thought we are enduring. Indeed, Venerable Sir, being truly non-eternal, we thought we are eternal. Truly, Venerable Sir, we are just impermanent, not enduring, non-eternal, included in individuated existence. Of such great supernatural power, monks, is the Tathāgata over (lit: of) the world together with [its] god[s], thus renowned, of such great power.
