Having known sounds…smells…tastes…tactile objects…mental objects as they really are – the origin and the passing away of [them], the enjoyment and the danger of [them], and the escape from [them] – the Tathāgata does not delight in mental objects, is not delighted with mental objects, is not pleased with mental objects. With the change, fading away, and cessation of mental objects, monks, the Tathāgata dwells happily.
