samuddo, samuddoti, bhikkhave, assutavā puthujjano bhāsati. neso,

bhikkhave, ariyassa vinaye samuddo. mahā eso, bhikkhave, udakarāsi mahāudakaṇṇavo.

cakkhu, bhikkhave, purisassa samuddo, tassa rūpamayo vego. yo taṃ

rūpamayaṃ vegaṃ sahati, ayaṃ vuccati, bhikkhave, atari cakkhusamuddaṃ saūmiṃ sāvaṭṭaṃ sagāhaṃ sarakkhasaṃ. tiṇṇo pāraṅgato thale tiṭṭhati
